Rest In Pieces

I have sad news. Do you remember Pat, the unfortunately named scorpion? I found out today that he died. There was a theory that perhaps the cold had killed Pat, but forensic evidence doesn't necessarily support that conclusion. Here are the facts.

1. Pat was lying stretched out in the middle of his cage rather than burrowed in the sand or curled up on his rock.

2. Pat's head and one pincer were sadly missing. I don't think the cold did that.

3. Pat got a roommate a few months ago. It's a black beetle that was never given a name. He's about 5 times as big as Pat.

Upon reviewing the wealth of evidence, I suspect foul play. So, if you see a character like the one pictured below, make sure you don't allow it to share a room with you.
