The Good Wife's Guide

You'll need to click on the picture to make it big enough to see all the words, but it's totally worth it. Someone else did the underlining, but holy crap! I guess it's a good thing I didn't live in 1955. If all this is true and was the mentality then it's no wonder Women's Lib was such a big deal.

So, when can I expect a ribbon in your hair and fresh makeup when you pick me up from school?
I can't believe this was expected of our grandmothers...

Holy crap! I don't know how women put up with that for so long. I totally would have rebelled if I had lived then. There is no way that what Andrew has to say is more important than what I have to say. :)

You know for the first few there I was feeling a little smug and thinking, I guess I am just old fashioned. But it just got too ridiculous! Never question anything? Whatever he has to say is always more important than what I have on my mind? Wowser. Congratulate me, I just may be more of a women's libber than I thought!
