A friend sent me a letter about a book exchange. It looks like a chain letter and the idea is the same, except it involves sending a book to the child on the list and includes their age so you know what kind of book to give. I am quite passionate about children's books and have a great resource for getting them. It looks like a fabulous idea to me and an easy way to build your kid's library. I've seen it done with recipes before, but forgot to ever send them out.
So I am wondering who else would be interested in this. I need to send the letter on to six friends (and I have some in mind), but I want to send it to people who want to participate. If it's something you think you would like to do please leave me a comment with a way to get in touch with you or send me an email with your address. If more than six people want to get in on it, I'm great with that, too. Just let me know quickly so I can get the letters out. As you can see, Ellie is bored of reading Daddy's books.

you buy one for one child?
count me in.
my girls and i did this like 2 years or 3 years ago and nothing came of it. we didn't get any books or responses. we just wasted alot of money. i think a better solution to this is to actually have a play date with books and then you can exchange them like sort of like a library visit and give the books back at the next play date. save money but read new books.
