Month of Thanks: Day 2

Modern medicine.  A truly awesome doctor.  Those two things go hand in hand for me.  Without the miracle that is modern medicine both my father and my older brother would be dead.  Period.

Without my doctor there is a great chance that I would have needed a c-section to deliver my newest daughter.  Thanks to modern medicine, it wouldn't have been a really big deal to have a c-section to deliver my newest daughter.  And I would have had to go through labor and delivery without the anesthesia I love so dearly.  We live in a great age.
